2015 BMW X6 returns in fresh spy photos

by SpeedLux

The second generation of the X6 has been caught under lens yet again ahead of its scheduled market release in 2015.

We can very well expect a new coupe-type X5 as BMW has been found testing a new X6 around the tracks of Nürburgring in Germany. Talking about the designing, the same can be easily imagined after taking a look at the third-gen X5 and the X4 concept as the new X6 will combine styling cues found on the two X models. The head- and tail-lamps are likely to be borrowed from the X5 while the sloping roofline design will be mostly carried over from the X4 concept.

Talking about the power, we can expect the engine lineup to be borrowed from the X5 which means the model may come get a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing 450 HP (331 kW), a six-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine rated at 258 HP (190 kW) and a tri-turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder mill with output of 381 HP (280 kW).

The new BMW X6 will be revealed towards the end of 2014 after which the same woul;d head towards showrooms in the first half of 2015.
