2015 Cadillac Escalade gets detailed, will offer three trim levels

Cadillac has recently released some new details about the 2015 Escalade.

Set to go on sale next spring, the entry-level Escalade will come equipped with features such as LED headlamps, a hands-free tailgate and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Other highlights include a rear view camera, park assist, Magnetic Ride Control and an adaptive remote starting system. Inside the cabin, there are features such as leather upholstery, heated / cooled front seats, a leather-wrapped steering, a digital instrument cluster, a CUE infotainment system and a Bose audio system.

Moving up to the Luxury variant adds IntelliBeam headlights, a sunroof and 22-inch alloy wheels. Other highlights include color heads-up display, power fold-and-tumble second row seats and a Driver Awareness Package that includes a Safety Alert Seat, a Lane Departure Warning system and Forward Collision Alert.

The range-topping Premium comes with all the aforementioned and additional features include illuminated exterior door handles, a rear seat entertainment system and a Driver Assist Package with Automatic Collision Preparation, Automatic Braking and Full-speed Adaptive Cruise Control.

All the variants will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine generating 420 hp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623) of torque. It will be further mated to a six-speed auto transmission which can be paired to an optional four-wheel drive system.
