2015 Cadillac Escalade interior revealed

Cadillac has recently released a new image of the 2015 Escalade in which they are showing some parts of the interior.

The cabin of the firm’s flagship SUV will feature premium appointments like high-end hand-stitched leather surfaces combined with real wood trim and upper-spec materials to create a classic interior which reminds us of the Ciel and Elmiraj concepts. The company claims that the new Escalade will offer the latest features in luxury, connectivity and safety and will have enough space to accommodate up to eight people.

The model will be built on the K2XX platform developed by General Motors which also underpins other models like the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Yukon, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban. The fourth-gen model will most likely come fitted with a V8 6.2-liter engine with an output of around 420 hp (313 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed automatic gearbox and an optional AWD setup will also be part of the package for what we assume will be a more upscale Escalade with a price of more than 65,000 USD.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be officially unveiled next week on 7th in New York along with a portrait series and a behind-the-scenes clip done by indie artist Autumn de Wilde.
