Cadillac has recently officially unveiled the 2015 Escalade after a recent leak of the model.
Set to go into production next spring, the redesigned model will feature an evolutionary design and will come fitted with a prominent grille that is flanked by LED headlights. Moving further back we can see sculpted lines, chrome trim and 20-inch alloy wheels (with an option to fit the large 22-incher wheels as well).
Talking about the interiors, there are quite a few changes that are expected to take place in the cabin as it would come with higher quality materials and a modern design. Notable highlights include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a CUE infotainment system, ambient lighting, genuine wood trim, heated and cooled front seats, heated reclining second-row seats and fold-flat second- and third-row seats. Customers would also have an option to get a Blu-Ray / DVD rear seat entertainment system that has one nine-inch screen on the standard model and two nine-inch screens on the ESV.
Motivation would be provided by a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine that would generate 420 hp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623) of torque. It would be further mated to a six-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional four-wheel drive system.
