2015 Hyundai Sonata spied in Germany

by SpeedLux

Development work continues on the 2015 Hyundai Sonata as the car has been caught spying cruising around Germany.

The revised model certainly looks more refined than its predecessor and also has an evolutionary design borrowing cues from the Genesis and Equus. The model was covered with lot of camo and so most of the things were hidden but we can still see that it features a prominent grille, slender headlights and a contoured hood. The roofline also appears to be a bit higher but the same cannot be confirmed and nothing is official as of now.

Talking of the power specs, the entry-level 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine may be replaced by the turbocharged 1.6-liter mill that forms part of the Veloster Turbo. The new engine can generate an output of 201 hp (150 kW) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque which is slightly higher than the 2.4-liter’s 198 hp (147 kW) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque.

The company has revealed very limited details about the model as of now but the 2015 Hyundai Sonata is expected to be unveiled somewhere in next year and so we can expect to learn more in the coming months.
