Kia has officially debuted the K4 sedan at the Chengdu Motor Show.
The model will be brought into market by Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture and will be available, specifically in China. It has joined the local car market today, after about five months of the concept version, that was revealed in Beijing.
The K4 uses the same body like Hyundai Mistra and it is 4.72 meters long with a measured 2.7-meter wheelbase. Two petrol engines will be provided at launch – a 1.8 with 146 bhp (109 kW) and 175 Nm (129 lb-ft) as well as 2.0 developing 162 bhp (121 kW) and 194 Nm (143 lb-ft). Afterwards, a 175 PS (130 kW) 1.6 turbo will be included to the line-up.
Pointed at family-based clients in their 30s and 40s, the K4 cost at 140,000 yuan (22,500 USD) to 180,000 yuan (29,000 USD) depending upon the model.
