2015 Mercedes AMG GT teased in a first video

Mercedes-AMG has released a first video teaser of the AMG GT, showing the prototype testing at various locations with powerful words and beautiful exhaust sound.

The teaser starts with “When conquering a twisty road is what matters the most, when driving performance is more than just a phrase, when driving performance becomes a reality”. Followed by “This is what you get when a company unleashes its creative and engineering forces to combine the absolute best of all it has done into a single, monumental, unwavering engineering achievement.”

Sounds promising as this Porsche 911 Turbo rival has everything to succeed.

Under the hood is most likely a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. From launch two models are expected with entry-level model producing 450-480 hp and the more powerful model 500-520 hp.

Later in the future a more powerful AMG GT Black Series is also likely to follow with up to 580 hp.
