It turns out that a luxury automaker from the Great Britain, Jaguar, is cooking up a new model for its F-Pace vehicle lineups. Designated as a 2016 model year vehicle, the car has recently been spotted inside and outside. So, what does this new vehicle from the British automaker will actually have to offer to loyal fans of the brand?
Spied testing in the Great Britain, the home country of the automaker in question, the 2016 Jaguar F-Pace comes with a pretty stylish exterior that seems to be inspired by the company’s C-X17 Concept, to begin with. The latter, by the way, made bow during the Frankfurt Motor Show back in the year 2013.
With the exterior design of the car being inspired by the Jaguar C-X17 Concept vehicle, a prominent front grille is easily noticeable on the front fascia of the car. In addition to that prominent front grille, the car also sports a pair of large air intakes. As for the headlamps of the vehicle, they seem to borrow the styling cues of the Jaguar XF. Other notable elements of the car include a sculpted engine hood, muscular rear fenders, a spoiler mounted on the tailgate of the car, wraparound taillights and a belt line that sweeps upwards.
On the interior, five seats are visible. Besides the ability to seat five passengers, the car also features a 3-spoke steering wheel, a rotary transmission shifter, metallic door handles, piano black trim and also an onboard vehicle infotainment system. Please note, though, that the infotainment system spotted on this Jaguar F-Pace prototype is just a sticker at the moment. It is not a real infotainment system but may as well hint that the final production version of the car will have an infotainment system that looks similar to the sticker.
As reported some time ago, the 2016 Jaguar F-Pace will most likely have the company’s iQ[AI] platform underpinning it. In addition to that, its engine may as well come from the Jaguar XE sedan. That said, chances are, the car will feature a supercharged 3.0L V6 Ingenium engine with four inline cylinders and is capable of 340 bhp and 450 Nm of power and torque.
