Nissan has introduced an updated version of the 370Z Nismo which will be available for bookings from the middle of this year.
Power will be shunted out from the same V6 3.7-liter engine but its output has been increased from 328 HP (241 kW) at 7,000 rpm to 344 hp (253 kW) at 7,400 rpm. The torque figure is also up from 267 lb-ft (362 Nm) to 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) reached at 5,200 rpm.
The throttle response is better and more power would come from 2,000 rpm. Connected exclusively to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the coupe performs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 5.2 seconds which is quite quicker than before.
The 370Z Nismo is attached with a new body kit which allows the coupe to generate as much downforce as the GT-R. Some of the dynamic changes include a bigger diffuser with integrated twin exhausts, wider side skirts, fixed rear wing and a revised front end featuring a splitter.
The car now comes with 19-inch alloy wheels bundled around in wider 245/40 front and 285/35 rear bespoke Bridgestone Potenza tires. Compared to the normal model, the Nismo version is 10mm lower and gains from updated dampers, springs and brakes.
Interior changes include Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, bespoke Nismo sport seats and a new red & black trim.
