For those who have yet to notice, one of the luxury automakers from Italy, the Alfa Romeo, is celebrating the 60th anniversary of one of its vehicle lineups this year. We are talking about the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint here. Sporting great exterior looks and an affordable price tag, there is no need to question just how many people out there are actually in love with this vehicle model in particular.
Of course, for such an anniversary, it is only natural for the company to celebrate it. So, for the sake of the celebration, the Italian automaker has now launched the latest version of its mid-size hatchback. This new Giulietta Sprint is being launched in the United Kingdom. Just like its original variant which first came into existence in this world back in the year 1954, the new Sprint will also count on an engine with a total capacity below 1,400 cc. However, the new model will be gifted with a total power output of 150 hp.
It is reported that the latest version of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint will come with a 1.4L MultiAir engine with turbocharger. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, the engine will take the car flying to the speed of 100 km/h from a standstill in around 8.2 seconds. Its top speed will lie somewhere around 210 km/h and the car will be quite eco-friendly, with a CO2 emission of just 131 g/km.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is bound to be a special edition vehicle. As such, it will be bringing dozens of unique features. These features will include front wing special badges, carbon material for its dashboard surround and doors, sporty rear bumpers, Alcantara and cloth upholstery, tinted windows and also a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. The car will come with an asking price of £20,490 and order will start early next year in the UK.
