The entry level market for sedans is a tough one to crack and is flanked by heavy competition. The number of sedans on sale in this segment is more than what meets the demands. Thus to excel in the markets with a product is seemingly difficult, quite difficult. A good car in this market is termed mediocre and to survive you need a car which is excellent meeting the best standards.

The BMW 3-Series has been sitting on the top of the table in this market for a long time now. With its superior engine performance and great looks the car has really earned the top spot. With Audi and Mercedes also entering the market, competing with BMW with their sedans, Jaguar is bound to have a tough time in the market.

Jaguar, though tried to come up with entry level cars earlier, their campaign was not much of a success. With the new X760, Jaguar will hope to make a positive impact on the market and cement its position with the other companies at the top.
