Gran Turismo 5 to be ready for a November 24 launch

After a couple of postponements and a long wait, the news is finally confirmed that Gran Turismo is ready for release in the North American markets on the 24th of November as stated by the head of public relations in the US Playstation blog website.

The president of Polyphony Digital, Mr Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed the date of release. Yamauchi stated the reasons of delay to be the desire of the manufacturers to overcome and exceed the expectations of the Gran Turismo loyalists. The President, praising the Gran Turismo 5.0 went on to the extent of stating that it was comparable to the Apollo Space Program.

He also stated that the making of the first game, the original Gran Turismo in the year ’97 started with the intentions of setting new standards in the world of racing. With advancing time, technology has taken a great leap and Gran Turismo 5 tries to bring about a revolution in the world of gaming.

He stated that the prime factor of making Gran Tourismo 5 was to give the fans ultimate satisfaction and gaming experience. He further said that they regretted the fact that they had to make their fans wait for the game and also apologized to the fans for the delay. He concluded on a positive note saying it would be worth the wait.
