After releasing endless numbers of teasers, Arash Cars has finally unveiled the AF8 supercar.
About four years ago UK-based Arash had introduced the AF10 and now they are back with the AF8 which comes with the same 7.0-liter V8 engine. The GM-sourced mill generates 550 hp (410 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft) of torque at 5,000 rpm. Output is transferred to the wheels with help from a six-speed manual gearbox wrapped around in a chassis made from high tensile tubular steel with integrated front and real roll over bars.
Arash Cars says that the model will be able to accelerate to 0-60 mph (0-96 kmph) in an estimated 3.5 seconds with top speed of 200 mph (322 kmph). Stopping power is provided by ventilated 380mm front / 362mm rear discs with six- and four-piston calipers, respectively. Other features of the super car include carbon fiber body panels, bi-xenon headlights with LED taillights, a double wishbone suspension and a titanium exhaust system.
Talking about dimensions, the vehicle is 4.15 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.1 meters tall and rides on 19- front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires.
