If some of the most recent reports out there are to be believed, chances are, Aston Martin, a luxury automaker from the Great Britain, is going to produce vehicles that will be equipped with AMG powertrains in the future. Seemingly for the sake of that, the British automaker has now officially opened up a new facility, a development and prototype center. This facility is situated at Nuneaton, Warwickshire, at a spot known as the MIRA Technology Park.
The British company’s new facility is situated about a hundred miles northwest of England’s capital city, London. The facility is quite a big one, taking into account the fact that it measures no less than 15,800 square feet in total. It is reported that the facility will prove to be crucial for the company’s upcoming vehicle models that will run on AMG engines.
Ian Minards, the director of product development at the British automotive company, points out that the MIRA has the cutting edge technologies the company requires. When that is combined with MIRA’s excellent security as well as quality, it becomes a very suitable place for the British automotive marquee and its staffs to develop the prototypes of the company’s next generation vehicle models. In addition to that, Minards also points out that this facility in particular will provide the company’s engineering teams just the tools they need so as to make sure that even the vehicles that the company has in the future will keep their identity as a true leader in their class.
For those who are probably not quite knowledgeable about the MIRA Technology Park just yet, it features pretty much all types of driving surfaces that people can find worldwide, besides a decent number of tracks. This will give the British automaker the ability to test their prototypes completely safely and securely.
