Aston Martin Special Edition Vantage 4.7 Rvealed: Official Price, Specs and Pictures

The British manufacturer Aston Martin has revealed a special edition of one of its most successful models, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage specifically for the Continental European market. This model will make its official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, tomorrow.

The exterior features Onyx Metallic Black and race-inspired silver grille-surround. In addition to that, this model is further accentuated by the black mesh bonnet louvers, silver Vantage seven-spoke alloy wheels, side strakes and grey brake callipers.

As for the power, the Aston Martin Special Edition Vantage comes with a 4.7 liter V8 engine that delivers 426bhp and 470Nm to the road. Whit this massive powerm this beauty is capable of sprints from zero to one hundred km/h in 4.9 seconds, and delivering a top speed of 290km/h. The power is transferred to the wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. However, if you’re not impressed with this, the British car maker gives you an alternative – the Sportshift six-speed automated manual transmission with aluminium shift paddles.

In the cabin prevails the Obsidian Black leather, accented with contrasting silver stitching, and leather seat inserts tailored in black Alcantara. The steering wheel is covered in Obsidian Black Alcantara, while for the headlining, the manufacturer decided to choose Anthracite shaded Alcantara. In order to complete the overall design, the instrument panel is presented in a Gunmetal Alloy design, with the center console in a Graphite finish.

Keep in mind that this is a special edition and many of these standard features are usually only offered as an option for the normal models. However, the short list of extra features comes with options such as the Heated Front Seats, Bluetooth Telephone Preparation, the Aston Martin 700 Watt Premium Audio System or the 1000 W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio system, Cruise Control, Front Parking Sensors, Memory function for both seats and mirrors, Alarm Upgrade, Auto Dimming and Interior Rear View Mirror.

Price: around € 83,950 excluding duties and taxes
Availability: limited – this special edition is only valid from the 13th until the 30th of September 2011. Deliveries to customers will take place before year end 2011.
