Aston Martin V12 Zagato Unveiled at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show: Live Photos and Specs

by Zack Colt

Following the first official images of the Zagato and its first appearance on infamous Black’s Beach, Aston Martin V12 Zagato made its official world debut at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.

While many of its Zagato designed panels are hand-made, either from aluminum or carbon fiber, only 150 examples of the V12 Vantage-based Aston Martin V12 Zagato will be built, so you are the lucky person who can see one of this rare beauties.

If you don’t know already, Aston Martin Zagato uses a 5.9-litre V12 engine, which sends 510bhp and 420lb ft to the rear wheels. That’s enough to give the V12 Vantage a 4.4sec 0-60mph time and 190mph top speed, though the Zagato’s handcrafted aluminium and carbonfibre body should give it a kerb weight around 100kg lighter than its donor car’s 1680kg, boosting performance figures.

As for the prices, pricing is quite steep, starting at £330,000, or about $540,000 at current exchange rates.
