The R8 vehicle model from the luxury German automaker, Audi, is actually a car that has quite a huge fan base all around the globe. The car is widely popular. In fact, it is even used as the vehicle of choice for the protagonist in the Iron Man movie series, Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man. Now, it seems that the car is just about to increase its fan base, thanks to the recent teaser from the German company. Yes, Audi has officially shown off a couple of teaser images of the vehicle.

The luxury German automaker promises that its upcoming R8 model will redefine the kinds of standards that high performance sports cars will have to meet. Since the car is most likely to bow to the public at this year’s Geneva Motor Show event, Audi has reportedly launched a teaser campaign for the new R8. Unfortunately, the official teaser images that the German company has released so far won’t give out too many details about the vehicle at all. Only a little part of the front fascia of the vehicle can be seen. It seems that the car will be equipped with air vents that feature gills made of the carbon fiber material.

As it turns out, the car will also take advantage of LED headlamps as standard. Each of these headlamps will have no less than 37 LED bulbs. Yet, for those who demand more, they can pay an extra sum of cash, which will grant them access to optional high beam laser headlamps that utilize laser diodes with a high intensity.

Audi also points out that each of the headlamps on the vehicle will have one laser module. This module in particular will be equipped with four laser diodes, all of which have a high intensity. In order to help customers distinguish between the regular LED headlamps and laser headlamps, there is a signature blue light available for the laser headlamp variant. Last but not least, the 2015 Audi R8 is slated for debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and it will be shown next to the German company’s Audi R8 e-tron, which is an entirely electric variant of the R8.
