Bentley EXP 9F Concept

The British from Bentley decided to tackle on the luxury SUV market with a concept that they’re going to reveal at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Although this concept only has the purpose of giving us a general idea of what a future Bentley SUV might look like, the technical specifications and design probably won’t change much.

The concept SUV will be powered by the same 6.0-liter W-12 engine that Bentley used in their Continental model, but this one will be a little more powerful, delivering about 700 horsepower. Other engine choices might include a V-8 or even a hybrid one.

The exterior design is easily recognizable: it’s a Bentley, no doubt. The only difference between the look of this car and other Bentleys that have been the company’s flagships over the years is the bigger size. To be more specific, everything has gotten its size increased and made appropriate for an SUV.

The interior is as luxurious as you would expect: there are three passenger seats which are worthy of a king. Their size is about the same as the one of a first class flight seats. The car gets 3D navigation with a TFT screen, manually crafted materials (wood, leather, aluminum, bronze, etc.), internet connection by using a tablet, a video screen, etc.

As I said before, this concept will be revealed in Geneva, at the show that already started today. We probably have a few more days to wait until the Bentley press release.
