Bentley Teases the 2016 Bentayga

Bentley is an automotive marquee that is highly identical to luxuries and high performance. Hence, in spite of the usually high price tags put on its vehicle lineups, there are always going to be some people that are more than happy to buy the vehicles produced by this car manufacturer in particular. This time, the company has teased the public with yet another new vehicle model. It is badging the new model with the Bentayga moniker.

Teased at the current Detroit Auto Show event, the Bentley Bentayga is bound to make its debut no later than this year itself. The automaker in question hints that the car will put together the luxury of the modern day for a British marquee and impressive performance both on and off the road. Aside from that, the company also claims that the Bentayga will redefine the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) sector.

Judging by the teaser images, there is quite a good chance that the car will heavily borrow the visual styling design of the Bentley Continental. This can be seen from its rounded headlamps as well as its prominent front grille. Apart from those components, the car will also be coming with things like metallic accents, wood trim, high quality leather upholstery, dual exhaust pipes, a spoiler that is mounted onto the tailgate of the vehicle, vents on the front fenders, digital instrument panel and also rounded air vents.

Of course, what Bentley is offering here may not suit everyone’s taste. Yet, according to Wolfgang Durheimer, CEO Bentley, the Bentayga moniker is actually meant to be a moniker that represents the company’s knowledge when it comes to the SUV segment. Durheimer claims that the SUV which the company is offering will outperform whatever cars available out there. This is all because it combines outstanding performance with a high luxury level, taking owners of Bentley vehicles to a whole new level of driving experience.
