Concept 6 Series coupe which is a concept version of the 6 Series next generation car model from BMW was revealed recently and is expected to be at the dealers showrooms by next year. That the concept has drawn inspiration from the BMW Gran Coupe Concept is evident when one looks at the photographs. The Gran Coupe had been unveiled last April and the event was the Beijing auto show. BMW have not officially declared the details of the Concept 6 but it is known the car would have LED headlights and free standing Control Display for the iDrive operating system. There would also be the 2011 BMW X3 that would be up on display at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This car has the latest of technology incorporated in it. There is the Auto start Stop function and also the eight speed automatic transmission system.
The Paris show would also have the BMW 5 Series Touring model in its M sports Package make up and the engine variants of this series would also be up on display. The 2011 535d Touring would also be introduced by BMW during the show. This car is fitted with a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine which develops 150 kw or 204 hp. The standard 535d however has been incorporated with the BMW TwinPower Turbo technology which boosts the engine performance to 220 kw or 300 hp.
The show would also witness the 535i xDrive Touring and the 530d xDrive from BMW. The 530d xDrive is the first of its kind in that it is the first all wheel drive model of the new Executive Touring. The 2011 BMW 5-Series Sedan would come with the M sports package and also the all-wheel drive versions of the 535i xDrive and 530d xDrive. Not the last of the lot BMW would also show their ConnectedDrive with new functions and new product range from BMW M GmbH.
