The 2011 5-Series sedan from BMW is supposed to be presented at this year’s Paris Motor Show in the new M Sports Package. This is as per what BMW had announced. The package is supposed to consist of new front bumper, side sills, and a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and exhaust system as well as a small trunk spoiler. 10 spoke alloy wheels makes up the rest of the package.
The interior of the car would have an M sports steering wheel along with paddle shifter as also new sports seats and a set of fresh aluminum sports pedals. The 2010 Paris Motor Show would also witness the all wheel drive version of the 2011 5-Series Sedan form BMW which are the 550i xDrive, 535i xDrive and 530d xDrive. There would also be on display the 535d version of the 2011 5-Series sedan which has the 3 liter diesel engine installed. This engine can develop 220 kW or 300 hp of power.
There is also the Touring model from the 5-Series by BMW. There would be three versions available of this model. The 525d which would have a 3.0 liter in line six cylinder engine delivering 150 kW or 204 hp. Then there is the 535d which is installed with the same engine but tuned to deliver 220 kW or 300 hp. This has been achieved by incorporating BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology. There is the 528i version which is capable of delivering 190 kW or 258 hp. The 535i xDrive touring would be the first all wheel drive model from BMW in the touring line up. The M Sports package would be applied upon the touring version of the 2011 5-Series sedan also.
