Those who have a passion for the luxury cars from the German automakers will be grateful to know that one of the best luxury automakers from the country, BMW, has now officially unveiled the Individual Edition of its ActiveHybrid 7. The model has made its debut in the country of Sakura, Japan.
Well, there may not be too many changes on the exterior of the car that is already outstanding in terms of design and quality. However, there are indeed some minor modifications. Buyers of the car can now expect to get their hands on a sunroof, a set of alloy wheels measuring 20 inches and also an individual BMW badging.
As for the interior, customers will be greeted by premium leather upholstery from Merino when they step into the cabin. In addition to that, the roofline in the cabin is wrapped in the Alcantara leather whereas the steering wheel is available in either wood or leather wrapping. Individual BMW sill plates are to be expected as well as wooden trim which is available in a number of color options, such as, walnut satin honey brown, ash grain white or piano black.
Under its hood, the BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Individual Edition comes with a 3.0L 6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, paired with a Lithium-ion battery and a single unit of electric motor. This engine configuration boasts a total power output of 354 PS and a total torque of 500 Nm. As such, the car needs only 5.7 seconds to reach the speed of 100 km/h from a stall. It’s quite efficient in terms of fuel consumption as well, consuming only 6.8 liters of fuel per 100 km. The electric motor, in comparison, can run up to 4 km before running out of juice.
It is believed that there will only be 20 units of this model altogether so customers who want to buy it will have to act fast. The price is set to be at around $120,095.
