The brand Audi has always had its very own fan base, no matter the very high price tag that always comes with an Audi model. This is true even for the Audi A6. Well, for those who are waiting for the next generation A6 to show up, they can rejoice as the German automaker has finally unveiled not one but the entire Audi A6 lineups for the year 2015 in the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Well, it does not take long for an Audi fan to recognize an A6 in the aforementioned auto show but this does not necessarily mean that the next generation model comes with no changes. In fact, the front bumper and grille come with a totally new design. In addition to that, the headlamps as well as the taillights also get treated with a new style. Well, those are the changes that are easy to notice. For the harder parts, customers should probably pay attention to the car’s side skirts and exhaust pipes.
There are little changes to the interior as well. The car now comes with better upholstery, a night vision assistant system and a new infotainment system. As a luxury car, the 2016 model of the A6 sports front seats that are equipped with vents, heaters and even massagers as standard.
As for the engine options, customers of the 2016 Audi A6 will get to choose from a number of options. The lowest trim, however, will provide customers with a 1.8L 4-cylinder TFSI engine. This engine offers 190 PS of horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. Yet, as for those who demand the best in performance, they may want to go for the 4.0L TFSI V8 engine with twin turbochargers. The latter is capable of outputting 560 PS of horsepower at the maximum. The next generation Audi A6 will be available for 38,400 Euros in Germany starting fall 2014.
