Carlsson tunes the Mercedes CLA-Class for Frankfurt

Carlsson has unveiled their new tuning program based on the Mercedes CLA-Class at the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show.

Talking about the exteriors, the model can be equipped with features such as front spoiler, aerodynamic side skirts and a new rear bumper along with other features that include an electro-polished stainless steel grille insert and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. The customers will also have an option to install sport springs (which would reduce the ride height by 35mm), an adjustable coil-over suspension and a variety of wheels ranging in sizes from 18- to 20-inches.

Coming to the interior, the cabin comes with features that include alloy pedals, illuminated sill plates and special floor mats. Customers would also have an option to create a bespoke cabin with premium leather and Alcantara upholstery.

Motivation would be provided by the C-Tronic CB Plug & Drive module that would enables the CLA200 to generate 187 HP (138 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque which is an increase of 31 HP (22 kW) and 50 Nm (36 lb-ft) . For the CLA250, the output if boosted to 253 HP (186 kW) and 420 Nm (309 lb-ft) of torque which is an increase of 42 HP (30 kW) and 70 Nm (51 lb-ft).
