by SpeedLux

Chevrolet has recently announced its plans to introduce two new Sonic sedans at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show.

The company declined to give further details but reportedly the Sonic RS sedan will be heavily influenced by the hatchback variant. This means that we can expect an aggressive body kit, an upgraded interior and a turbo charged 1.4-liter EcoTec engine that would generate an output of 138 hp (103 kW) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque.

Talking about the Sonic Dusk, it was recently previewed by a concept at the SEMA Motor Show. It will likely feature a Pearl Nickel exterior paint with matte trim, a rear spoiler and 18-inch alloys. In the interiors, the cabin could receive leather / suede seats and a MyLink infotainment system. Like the Sonic RS, the Sonic Dusk could come equipped with a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 138 hp (103 kW) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque.

The models will be shown alongside the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado which is being termed as the “most capable, most versatile and technologically advanced midsized truckin the market” by the company.
