The Chinese market is displaying all the characteristics of a booming market for luxury cars. Statistical data shows that sale of luxury cars is consistently growing in China. Business leaders such as Audi, world-renowned automaker, also corroborate these facts in their sales figures. If we were to go by the sales figures of Audi for Chinese market in comparison to the Germany market, we would realize that China is soon likely to the replace Germany as the largest market for Audi and the luxury super sports vehicles in general.
Automotive experts and industry analysts are of the opinion that Audi’s sales have significantly stepped up by almost 60 percent amounting to an awesome 22,358 units of sports vehicle sold in the month of August alone. The cumulative sales of Audi’s cars have reached a total of 152,782 units in last eight months time window. This amounts to an overall 63 percent of growth in Audi’s sales figures. Meanwhile, Germany already saw a total sale of 144,365 units of the luxury vehicle in the month of August. Therefore, it is not illogical to believe that the Chinese market will soon replace German market for Audi’s high performance sedans.
It is important to note that Audi is not the only German automaker selling its vehicles in the Chinese market. Compared to its close rivals including BMW and Mercedes-Benz, Audi has the biggest market share as of date in the Chinese luxury car market.
