Chinese company Reveals a new Electric car to rival the Tesla Motors

A Chinese tech company has unveiled a new electrical automobile it hopes will equal the Tesla Motors Model S and its followers.

The announcement was part of a press conference in Beijing in which LeEco, formerly LeTV, has resolved its current name change and brand-new variety of products.

Extending its present varied market of mobile phones, TV set-top boxes, and smart TVs, LeEco has actually made the first highly visible step to challenge Tesla as the leader of electric vehicles.

The dramatic unveiling saw president Jia Yueting hailing the car using the firm’s smartphone voice acknowledgment, which shows its passion to develop a futuristic, self-driving taxi.

Referred to as the LeSee– short for Le Super Electric Ecosystem– the vehicle has a top speed of 210km/h, a foldaway steering wheel and outside show on the front of the car.

The car is also anticipated to include an on-board home entertainment system, which will enable passengers to pay attention to various things at the same time.

This will be enabled with back-of-seat screens and independent music playback.

Prior to liquidating press conference, Mr Yueting bent the autonomous power of the vehicle by ordering it to park itself from his smartphone.

When it will be presented at the upcoming Beijing Car Show, the public will get a more detailed look at the car.

In addition to the concept automobile, LeEco is the backer of Faraday Future– an American electrical automobile start-up responsible for a 1000-horsepower electric supercar concept. LeEco is likewise partnering with Aston Martin to develop electrical vehicle innovation and infotainment systems.
