Citroen, a France-based automaker, has officially previewed the final production version of the Berlingo Mountain Vibe concept car at the Geneva Motor Show this year. According to reports, the actual production version will be following its concept very soon.
Judging by the looks of the vehicle, the car is inspired by a facelifted version of the Berlingo model, which was introduced not so long ago. However, the car that Citroen is unveiling at Geneva has been treated with a number of accessories. To begin with, at the lower section of the doors of the vehicle, customers can find an extra trim. In addition to that, pink add-ons are also visible on the wheel arches. Yes, you heard that right, it’s pink! In fact, pink graphics can also be seen all over the body, fog lamp surrounds and also the roof bar protectors.
At the stage in Geneva, Switzerland, the car has its exterior wrapped in the company’s Mountain Green paint job. The tires of the wheels are also decorated with colored snow chains and the car features a Modutop glazed roof. Meanwhile, when it comes to the interior, customers will find grey fabric embossed on the front seats. Those who buy the vehicle will also benefit from three independent seats at the second row, all of which have also been treated with pink stitching on the top.
Unfortunately, it is not known for sure what kind of engines that the Citroen Berlingo Mountain Vibe concept actually packs under the hood. Yet, chances are, it will carry over from the Berlingo facelift. If that is the case, buyers of the vehicle can expect a BlueHDi engine whose power output ranges from 75 to 120 HP. Last but not least, buyers may also expect a 6-speed manual gearbox or, ultimately, a 6-speed Efficient Tronic Gearbox (ETG).
