The French automaker Citroen has once again shown its teeth in the automotive industry. The company has officially revealed a new, facelift version of its C4 vehicle lineup. Unlike most facelift vehicles, the 2015 Citroen C4 actually comes not only with new visual styling but also new hardware components.

To start with, a very dominant visual change is visible on the front fascia of the car. This time around, the vehicle sports dark headlight clusters with newly designed LED daytime running lights. The rear fascia, on the other hand, sports a new set of combination taillights with what the company dubs the ‘3D effect’. The wheels also receive a new treatment. The car now runs on 18-inch alloy wheels. In addition to that, the car is available in two exterior color options as well, the Platinum Grey and the Stone Grey. Those are only exterior changes, though, but what about the interior changes?

Well, stepping into the cabin, the 2015 Citroen C4 offers customers with a pair of new upholstery themes. These themes consist of the Rayados Mistral and the Liberia Grey knits. Besides the new upholstery themes, one new component that catches attention inside the car cabin is the new 7-inch touchscreen LCD. This LCD takes the place of the conventional knobs and buttons found on the car’s predecessor.

In terms of performance, the 2015 Citroen C4 has been treated with a new engine compliant to the Euro 6 emission standard. Dubbed the PureTech 110, this engine is capable of delivering a total power output of 110 hp at 5,500 rpm and 205 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The 6-speed manual transmission of the car sends power to its front wheels. As a result, the car has a fuel consumption ratio of 4.7 L/100 km.

Yet, for those who want the ultimate performance, they can go for the PureTech 130 engine. This engine is able to spit out 130 hp at 5,500 rpm with a total torque of 230 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The car comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, resulting in fuel consumption of 4.8 L/100 km.

A turbocharged diesel engine is also available and it comes with two options. The first option is a BlueHDi 100 engine with a total power output of 100 hp and a total torque of 254 NM. Meanwhile, the second option is a BlueHDi 120 engine, capable of bursting out 120 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
