The automaker Saleen has taken the liberty of officially disclosing its latest vehicle creation. Dubbed the S302 Black Label, the car was fully unveiled at a recently organized special event that took place in Los Angeles, USA.
The car reportedly takes advantage of the chassis used on the Ford Mustang and the automaker Saleen is appropriately touting the car as the most powerful Mustang ever that customers can possibly find so far in the world. Well, to be honest, this is not exaggerative at all, considering that the car hides a 5.0L V8 engine under its hood. To give the car an even higher power, the engine is also backed by a 2.8L supercharger with twin screws, optimized ECU and also fuel injectors with a high flow. With all these components residing beneath the engine bay of the vehicle, the 2015 Saleen S302 Black Label Mustang is actually powerful enough to deliver 730 bhp and 812 Nm of power output and torque, respectively. The car also needs to consume 91 octane fuel.
On its front fascia, this new offering from Saleen features an aerodynamic body kit, complete with a ram air hood as well as a front splitter. In addition, the car also bears a rear diffuser with a stylish design, a set of aerodynamic side skirts and also a redesigned front grille. Stepping further to the rear, a rear spoiler comes standard. The car can also be seen sitting firmly on a set of alloy wheels measuring 21 inches in diagonal. These wheels also come with a high performance braking system.
Stepping into the cabin of the vehicle, buyers will be greeted by a newly designed instrument panel, door sill plates equipped with illumination, individually numbered dashboard plaque, embroidered floor mats and also sport seats wrapped in the Alcantara and fine leather materials.
According to reports, Saleen is already accepting orders for the model whose price begins at $73,214.
