As per information provided by IHS Automotive, crossovers and Suvs now represent 36.5 percent of the U.S. light-vehicle business sector while cars are close behind at 35.4 percent. The report just variables in retail enrollments through May of 2014 however drift has been clear for a long while.

While a ton of models served to push the hybrid and SUV portion to the top, the report credits fresher entrances, for example, the Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Rogue and Chevrolet Tahoe/ GMC Yukon for driving deals. The pattern will probably proceed as a mixture of automakers have effectively declared arrangements to offer more modest and more affordable crossovers in the future.
