Dodge Has Revived Go Mango Orange Paint Option for SRT Charger, Challenger

by David Bond

Mopar holds the title for a few of the best car paint names extant, with the majority of its all-time hits coming throughout the late-’60s and early-’70s muscle-car period. In the last few years, Dodge has actually revived a number of such colors for its Battery charger and Challenger models, with Plum Crazy (purple), B5 Blue (obvious), Top Banana (yellow), and Sublime (a searing green color). Now, after a ten-year hiatus, the known Go Mango orange, is once again a choice on the Charger/Challenger siblings after creating a look on the 2016 Dart’s alternative sheet.

As many of us are crazy for traditional Mopar colors, so the reemergence of Go Mango is great news to us. The color was last provided to consumers on the 2006 Charger R/T, and initially was presented as a member of the 1970 Challenger’s color scheme. Dodge states that the color has actually been rather modernized for its application on today’s Battery charger and Challenger, but it’s still extremely, really orange. The color will not be provided on every Challenger and Battery charger; just purchasers eyeing an SRT 392 or SRT Hellcat version of the 2016 Challenger or Charger can buy Go Mango.
