Dubai Police add a McLaren MP4-12C to their lineup

The Dubai Police have recently announced that the latest addition to their growing supercar fleet is a dashing and hot McLaren MP4-12C.

Dubbed as a “Super Patrol Car,” the MP4-12C will hit the streets in a distinctive white and green livery and we can say that it will probably attract more onlookers than criminals.

As previously reported, the MP4-12C comes equipped with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that can generate an output of 625 HP (460 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the coupe to achieve the sprint of 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds and is capable of hitting a top speed of 329 kmph (204 mph).

All that can be said about this acquisition by Dubai Police is that the car is no less than an attraction. Also is it going to be a tough time for criminals to get away after doing the crime as this car will just get you under any circumstances. So this car serves multiple purposes we have to say – treat for the onlookers, boon for the police and a warning for the criminals.
