Skoda has introduced the facelifted Yeti that will be offered in two styling versions at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The standard model was designed for the city roads and will come with body-colored bumpers, side protective mouldings and rear panels, while the Outdoor model will come with black plastic mouldings to provide a more rugged appearance. The facelift is in the form of a redesigned front fascia with bi-xenon headlights featuring LED daytime running lights, Skoda’s corporate grille and a revised bumper. The rear shows more prominent badging on the tailgate and lightly updated taillights.
The customers will have an option to choose from three gasoline engines and four diesels, FWD or AWD and a six-speed manual gearbox or a six/seven-speed DSG. The most economical version will be the GreenLine with a 105 HP (77 kW) 1.6-liter TDI engine with a six-speed manual gearbox and sending power to the front axle. With this, the facelifted model now has a fuel consumption of 4.6 liters / 100 km and CO2 emissions at 119 g/km.
The 2013 Skoda Yeti facelift boasts of a 180mm ground clearance and also represents the company’s first ever model to be available with an optional rear-view camera.
