Ferrari Upseting SRT Viper ACR Coming in 2014

The name says it all – SRT Viper ACR, it is certainly one of the most commanding cars in Detroit and it is expected to be launched in 2014.

As per Motor Trend, the delay in the launch is because of the problems with tire and the company has asked tire manufacturer, Pirelli, to build up finer matching part for Corvette ZR1’s Michelin wheels. And once the tires are attached, the car will be ready for launch in 2014.

Viper ACR may have a much powerful engine which will be 8.4 liter V10 engine. It is said that the engine is so powerful that it may even overtake Ferrari’s F12 but it would require approval from Fiat.

The car is also expected to have a different aerodynamic set, bigger rear wing, adjustable dampers, lower ride height, etc. However, not much detail is available as of now and more of it will be available sooner than later.
