To convert the Fiat 500 model into one that has oodles of power is what the Italian tuning firm Romeo Ferraris’ has meted out to this model. This particular Fiat model is a limited Edition and got its name 500 Abarth Monza, from the legendary Italian circuit. The unit has a very sporting engine and the tuning firm has given it a lot of styling modification too.
The original engine of the Fiat 500 is a 1.4 liter force fed one. The modified engine of the 500 Abarth though has a new and larger turbocharger complete with an intercooler, optimized ECU and a custom sport exhaust system. These are but a few of the upgrades to the engine. With this modification the engine now delivers 260 hp. The car is a front wheel drive and the transmission is done through a six-speed sequential gearbox and a limited slip differential.
For wheels the 500 Monza has a set of 17-inch Romeo Ferraris alloys, wrapped around in 205/40 Yokohama Parada tires. A Brembo brake set and a sport suspension with adjustable shocks is what that completes the entire performance package.
For styling the tuning company Romeo Ferraris has made up a styling kit that consists of a front carbon fiber splitter, hood air intake, rear diffuser, and black mirror housings and door handles, plus Autodromo Nazionale Monza livery.
A white color theme for the interior which is accented by red and blue stripes on the exterior is the color scheme that the tuners have zeroed in on for its looks. Most of the interior is done up with a combination of leather and Alcantara. The company would be making just ten units of this exclusive Fiat 500.
