First Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Accident in Italy

by Adrian Hayden

Considering that the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 develops 700 HP coming from a 6.5-liter V-12, and all the ego-boosted confidence that goes with it, it was only a matter of time until we had to report on the first crashed.

Happened on August 30th 2011 in Padua, Italy, this is the first Lamborghini Aventador crash. According to local reports, the unlucky Lamborghini Aventador attempted to pass a column of slower moving traffic and crashed into a truck on a rural road in the province of Padua. After the Lamborghini Aventador hit the truck it spun and hit a telephone pole, traffic sign and a fence before landing in a ditch.

These initial pictures do not show many details, but it looks as though the complete front-end of the car has been destroyed.

Fortunately, according to local reports, no one was seriously injured, except the car which is quite affected.
