Elon Musk tweeted late on Sunday night about the Tesla Model 3.
In the first tweet, he mentioned that the upcoming Tesla Model 3 had passed all regulative requirements two weeks ahead of schedule and that the first (SN1) Model 3 would be finished by this Friday. Previously this year it was reported that production of the Model 3 would start in July regardless of Tesla’s first-quarter losses, and apparently the automaker managed to hit its objective.

In his second tweet, Elon Musk revealed a handover party for the first 30 Model 3 owners on July 28. He then discussed that Model 3 production would reach 100 units next month and more than 1,500 by September.

His third tweet, just specified that Tesla Model 3 production will reach 20,000 units monthly in December. This indicates Musk isn’t really expecting the same production delays that afflicted the Model X.

The Model 3 is expected to have an approximated driving range of over 215 miles and ought to have the ability to reach 60 mph in about 5.6 seconds. Costs will start at around $35,000 prior to government incentives.
