Five killed after car crashes and engulfs in Chattisgarh

At least five members of a family were killed in a car crash on Friday a car carrying them was engulfed just after an accident in Chhattisgarh.

The accident took place close to Singarpur in the Rajnandgaon district.

Initial investigation showed the car suddenly lost balance and rammed into a bridge before it overturned and caught fire.

The victims were taken to the hospital for an autopsy.

They have been identified as Subhash Kochar (62), his wife Kanti (59) and their daughters Bhawana (32), Vriddhi (26) and Pooja (24).
