Ford Motor has presented the next-generation of its voice activated in-car technology SYNC 3 in India.

SYNC 3 is much quicker and easier to use with improved response to voice commands. The most sophisticated version of Ford’s in-car innovation also uses the potentially lifesaving Emergency Assistance function which instantly calls emergency services from a paired phone in case of an accident, when the airbags are released.

Offered initially with the Endeavour’s top-of-the line Titanium trim, SYNC 3 brings Android Auto and Apple CarPlay making it possible for both Android and iOS users simpler and safer access to messages, phone and music. Other new functions include smooth integration of AppLink for an easy way to manage smart device apps, Siri Eyes-Free capability for Apple iPhone and software updates through Wi-Fi.
