Ford has unveiled the Mondeo Vignale concept which announces a new range-topping trim in the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show.
The company has said that the Vignale will not be available before the year 2015 at first on the new-gen Mondeo/Fusion and then on the S-MAX and Edge. It is expected to be slotted above the Titanium X trim and promises to offer more luxurious amenities both inside as well as out for those who want a more premium Ford. The company has claimed that the model has been designed keeping in the mind the 10-15 percent of potential buyers who want an ever higher specification.
Ford is also showcasing a four-door Mondeo Vignale sedan concept at IAA in Frankfurt that features a bespoke exterior paint scheme with elegant 20-inch alloy wheels and a chrome finish on the door handles and mirror caps. In the interiors, the model gets upper-spec leather upholstery matched with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, instrument panel and center console. The model also comes with a Vignale-branded storage drawer in the trunk and is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and front/rear Park Assist with Rear View Camera.
The model looks quite stylish and we will have to wait till further details are received.
