by SpeedLux

Porsche has unveiled the new 911 Turbo S at the Frankfurt Motor Show and the same will go on sale at the end of this month.

The latest version of the 911 Turbo S comes equipped with a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine that can generate an output of 560 HP (412 kW) which makes it 40 HP (29 kW) more powerful than the Turbo version. The power is sent to all four wheels through a dual-clutch 7-speed PDK which now enables the Turbo S to achieve the 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint in just 3.1 seconds and can hit a top speed of 198 mph (318 kmph).

In terms of features, the new 911 Turbo S comes with a four-wheel steering system taken from the 911 GT3 and comes as standard with full LED headlights (with DRLs) and camera-based main beam control. Other important features installed include a three-stage rear spoiler, 20-inch alloy wheels with hub wheel locks, along with a deployable and adjustable rear wing.

The company has even announced the pricing in Germany and it kicks off at 195,256 EUR (with VAT and other taxes included). The lesser 911 Turbo starts off from 162,055 EUR.
