Win a Porsche 911 for $50? PCA Spring Raffle Adds a Catch Few Expected

Spending $50 for a chance at a new Porsche 911 sounds absurd at first glance. Still, Porsche Club of America runs two raffles every year, and the current spring drawing includes more than one grand prize. The organization also adds cash alongside the cars, partly helping winners deal with taxes, transport costs, insurance, registration fees, and federal withholding.

This year’s headline car celebrates PCA’s 70th anniversary. The prize pool includes a 1-of-70 Porsche 911 Carrera T called the 911 Club Coupe, plus a 2026 992.2-generation 911 Carrera. Sonderwunsch touches separate the anniversary model from the standard car. One hides $60,000 in the frunk. The other carries $40,000 in the glovebox and sends power to the rear wheels.

Demand already pushed ticket numbers well past the minimum threshold required for a second vehicle giveaway. PCA needs 12,000 tickets sold before expanding the raffle, and another 8,500 entries unlock the additional prize car. Registration already crossed 20,500 validated tickets.

Still, the odds look brutal. A single $50 entry gives participants a 0.0048% shot at taking home the 1-of-70 Club Coupe, assuming the total stays at 20,500 entries. Canadians also qualify for participation and delivery, which shrinks those percentages further. Then again, PCA membership alone sits around 170,000 people, many with deep pockets and long histories around the brand.

And there is another hurdle. Buying a raffle ticket does not grant access automatically because entrants need an active Porsche Club of America membership first. Membership pricing starts at $56 for one year, climbs to $110 for two years, and reaches $162 across three years. Porsche ownership, or partial ownership, also enters the equation since PCA requests a VIN during signup.

Members receive extra benefits beyond raffle access. PCA mentions direct contact with Porsche technicians, reserved placement at regional or national gatherings such as autocross events and Werks Reunion activities, supplier discounts, Porscheplatz access, and even preferred treatment on Princess Cruises ships. Strange detail, perhaps, though PCA included it among the membership perks.

The 2026 PCA Spring raffle closes on June 1, 2026. Winners should appear before the end of the following month. Participants unwilling to keep the vehicle and attached cash prize together have another route available because PCA allows the package to be exchanged for a lump sum of $95,000 instead.

Those who miss this drawing still have another opportunity later in the year. PCA already plans a fall raffle reserved for members only.
