Ford wraps a 2014 Fiesta in bacon

Ford has prepared a bacon-wrapped Fiesta to celebrate a so-called the International Bacon Day.

To be very frank, we did not have any idea that there was such a thing as an International Bacon Day but we found out that apparently it is celebrated every Saturday before Labor Day in the United States. This year it will be celebrated on August 31 and for this occasion Ford has given a Fiesta a bacon theme by applying ten large decals depicting the tasty food.

This design is part of the company’s Custom Graphics program and this model will actually go on sale later. Also, the customers will have the option of going for the two pieces of bacon that go on the car’s hood and resemble classic dual racing stripes. Another design consists of two individual strips that wrap over the rear wheel which Ford says will be popular among those who are on a diet.

Ford has teamed up with 3M Original Wraps to offer bacon themes for their cars. We have to say that the day and the concept both sound quite interesting and unique in its own way and targeting the customers on the basis of their diet is also quite unique. All the best Ford for this innovative idea!
