Four dead, two injured after car crash in Truganina

Four people are dead and two others seriously injured after a sedan with six people crashed head-on with a truck at Truganina on Thursday evening.

The sedan was traveling east on Dohertys Road when it struck the small truck near Forsyth Road at about 7:30 pm.

Two of the sedan’s occupants were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Two others succumbed to their injuries when they were taken to hospital.

Two others are in hospital. Their condition is serious.

The driver of the truck was admitted to the hospital for observation.

Investigation is being also carried out by Major Collision Investigation Unit into the crash.
