Four killed after car crash in Highlands County, Florida

Four people were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Highlands County, Florida on Sunday night.

The crash happened at 8:46 p.m. at U.S. 98 and Tubbs Ranch Road in Sebring.

The crash took place when a car was traveling west on U.S. 98.

The car crossed the center line and entered the eastbound lane. After that, the car sideswiped the left side of another vehicle. The first vehicle continued to travel on U.S. 98 and hit a third vehicle head-on.

A 38-year-old man, a 68-year-old man, and a 28-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 6-year-old passenger was admitted to the hospital where he died.

The crash is being investigated by Florida Highway Patrol.
