Four people were killed following a wrong-way crash in Jefferson County, Montana.
A 45-year-old man drove a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound in the westbound lane on Interstate 90 on Saturday morning, and his vehicle crashed with a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse.
The Suburban driver died and three people in the Traverse, died as well.
All four were pronounced dead at the scene.
The road conditions at the time of the crash were clear and dry, according to Montana Highway Patrol.
Officials believe the Suburban driver was under the influence.
Two children in the Traverse, a 2-year-old male, and an 8-year-old female, survived but had to be hospitalized.
The three victims in the Traverse were from Hartford, South Dakota, authorities said.
Identities of the victims are yet to be released.
