Hyundai and Fox Marketing have jointly announced their plans to introduce a unique Veloster Turbo at the SEMA Motor Show.
Considered to be the most powerful street-focused Veloster Turbo ever, the model features a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that has been equipped with a BorgWarner EFR 6258 turbocharger, an optimized ECU, an aluminum cold air intake, a stainless steel sports exhaust system, AEM water/methanol injection system and a Nitrous Express N-Tercooler sprayer. Thanks to all these features, the engine will be able to now produce 370 hp (276 kW).
To keep things under control, the engineers have installed an adjustable coilover suspension, a strut tower brace, a mid-brace and new sway bars. The car also comes fitted with WP Pro EX6 six-piston front calipers and 13.6-inch wavy-cut rotors for neck-wrenching stopping power.
Last but not least, the model also features modified fascias, a front lip spoiler and a revised grille. There’s also Takata Street Pro LE racing seats and an exclusive R-M Oynx HD Waterborne SkyAqua Pearl paint job.
Now with these changes, we can say it is almost like a new car with quite a bit of newness in it.
