M3 Clubsport Models from G-Power to celebrates BMW’s win at Nürburgring

G-Power has brought forth two special edition models of the M3 Clubsport and both of them can set the race track on fire. The timing of the car’s release is interesting too as this is also the right time to celebrate BMW’s win at the 24Hours of Nürburgring curcuit. And what better way to toast the victory than to have two new cars that breathes fire.

Both the Tornado CS and GT2 S can crank out an impressive 600 horsepower along with 580 Nm of torque, which means the cars are good enough for a top speed of over 320 km/h with a six speed gearbox. Include a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and the speed can be well over 330 km/h. Both the top speed figure are on paper though.

However, of the two models – the Tornado is more civilized and boasts of G-Power’s SK II CS supercharger system, lightened wheels, and a “Clubsport” coilover system.

About the GT2 S, this happens to be the first official vehicle to come out from G-Power Motorsport. It sure is a turn-key racer and will set one back by a cool €139,495. Add taxes to that and watch the figure swell up a bit more. Nevertheless, its basically for those who are looking for a Porsche GT3 RS but one that has BMW written all over it and for whom, the M3 GTS does not evoke the same levels of excitement.

The GT2 S also does not wear the same looks as the usual M3 with the GT2-inspired carbon fiber body kit being the main differentiating factor. On the interior, carbon buckets takes the place of front passenger seats while the rear seat is done away with completely. All this along with a few other little changes and the weight of the vehicle comes down by as much as 150 kg.

And there’s something for those who are on a bit tighter budget, like they can make a Tornado CS out of their M3 for as little as €10,800. For that amount, the package includes a supercharger setup, new air intakes, titanium exhaust, new installation and tuning. There will be some more expenditure though for external cosmetic modifications like a trunk lip spoiler along with a rear diffuser with integrated running light. On the inside, there will be bucket seats similar to those found on the GT2 S.
