Galpin Auto Sports has recently released several teaser images of the Ford GT40-based GTR1 which will be unveiled at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this week.
The teaser images do not reveal much about the model but there are certain details which we know about GTR1. Under the hood of the GTR1 lies a twin-turbo 5.4-liter V8 engine that can generate a mammoth output of approximately 1,024 hp (764 kW) and 1,001 Nm (793 lb-ft) of torque. This mighty eight-cylinder should enable the super car to touch the top speed of more than 225 mph (362 kmph).
The model will come with features such as a hand-crafted aluminum body, 20-inch forged alloy wheels covered around in Pirelli P-Zero tires, six-piston calipers with full carbon rotors, a machined aluminum instrument cluster, jeweled headlights and taillights, carbon fiber interior accents and leather upholstery.
Well the details that are available are quite limited as of now but we do expect that once the car is unveiled in this week, more details will be released by the company and we will keep an eye on it so that we can update you about the same.
